Cody Citrus Couty Speedway 2010 Rookie of the Year.......

Cody earned rookie of the year honors in the Mini Stock class for 2010 and is looking forward to the start of the 2011 racing season. With a brand new car being built and new motors ready to go we hope for great results in 2011.

Cody posted: Well this Spring/Summer was my first real season in a full scale car, an even though we ran a limited schedule we sure did learn a lot about engines, car setup etc. Over the races we did run we managed some solid top ten positions with my best finish of 5th. Our biggest problem we struggled with this season was getting the car to turn all season long we just couldn't get the push out of the car but next year we will be on all brand new equipment (motor and chassie) the whole nine yards and hope to repeat are steller 2008 championship season.

New Sponsors 2011...

axcel sports

Cody has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Axcel Sports. Axcel Sports will be the official apparel sponsor for Cody Johnson Racing during the 2011 racing season. Cody Johnson Racing would like to thank Mr Burley and Axcel Sports for his support and we look forward to working with Axcel Sports during the 2011 race season. For more info about Axcel, please check out Axcel Sports Facebook page.

Safe Racer.Com recently set up their first sponsorship program and sent out and e-mail requesting applications. Cody prepared a racing resume and sent it to SafeRacer.Com in hopes he might be selected. SafeRacer.Com received over 1000’s resumes from drivers from just about every form of motor sports racing. Cody was one of only five drivers selected out of that 1000 to receive SafeRacer.Com sponsorship. What a huge thrill it is for Cody to have someone else besides his dad to believe in him enough to sponsor him in his racing dreams.

Cody would like to say a big thank you to Mr James at SafeRacer and to everyone else at SafeRacer.Com for their support.

If you are looking for the best in racing gear, helmets, tool please visit and tell them Cody Johnson sent you.
